Integration

KAIA manages each and every phase of the value-chain: from catching, preparation and processing to the distribution and commercialization of all sea produce. This vertical integration allows us optimal control over quality and all aspects of production.

Catching

KAIA operates a fleet of fishing vessels and partners with local fishing communities to deliver a daily catch to our processing plants. It doesn't get any fresher.

Preparation & Freezing

As our fishing grounds are throughout Indonesia, we operate a network of what we call "mini plants", where depending on the needs we will steam or clean and freeze our fresh catch to preserve quality and freshness during transport.

Factory Processing & Production

We operate several strategically located production facilities where all of our produce is prepared and stored in refrigerated warehouses. Kaia is committed to using the latest technology and machinery to ensure that our products are of the highest quality and meet the most stringent standards.

Quality Control

At KAIA, we employ strict quality control measures at every stage of the process to ensure compliance to international food safety and quality standards. Our processing sites utilize in-house microbiological labs operated by lab technicians trained in the verification of food safety and quality systems.

Packaging

Finished products are sampled and tested for quality before they are packed in food-grade packaging materials according to the client's specifications that will keep them safe from contamination during storage and transportation.

Distribution

Our logistics and export team has the experience and dedication to provide superior customer service. They help manage freights, shipping and all necessary documentation for our products to arrive safely and on time.
